Sport Rules

Jockey Challenge

Betting on the Jockey Challenge is Win Only.

The "Any other individual jockey" option shall be defined as the points earned by any one individual jockey riding at that meeting outside of the jockeys already nominated in the list of betting options for that meeting.

In the case of two or more jockeys finishing the day on the same amount of points the Dead Heat Rule applies. This is regardless of the amount of outright winners ridden by either of these jockeys.

If any individual jockey in the market does not complete at least one (1) ride for the meeting, all wagers on the Jockey Challenge for that meeting will be cancelled and monies refunded. For this clause, the term "complete" will be defined as having started in a race, not finishing a race (e.g. if that jockey falls off mid-race it will still be considered that he has completed a race)

If the meeting is postponed or abandoned at any stage, all wagers on the Jockey Challenge for that meeting will be cancelled and monies refunded regardless of standings at the time.

Australian Rules Football

Payouts are based on the official declared result, but conditions may apply to specific betting options (e.g. end of normal time, including extra time - an extension of normal time - etc.).

Where a match is abandoned or postponed, and played within seven days of the original scheduled date, all wagers stand. Once the seven days have expired, all single wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.

When the Draw option is offered, the wager is decided on the result at the end of normal time (i.e. extra time - an extension of normal time - not included). For Margin Betting the Draw option is always offered. When the Draw option is not offered, The Dead Heat Rule applies.

For match winners, player disposals, match ups, and most goals markets, all players must be in the starting line up for wagers to stand unless otherwise specified. The statistics used by the AFL website (www.afl.com.au) will be the statistics used for payout purposes.

For first goal scorer markets, players listed in the MadBookie.com.au market but are not in starting line up are subject to a refund. The statistics used by the AFL website (www.afl.com.au) will be the statistics used for payout purposes.

For leading Victorian or Interstate side:

1.When determining the leading Victorian or Interstate side for the season, the official AFL ladder standings will be used.

2.Using the round 22 ladder ranking, clubs eliminated in week one of the finals will be ranked seventh and eighth.

3.Those eliminated in week two of the finals will be ranked fifth and sixth.

4.The losers of the preliminary finals will finish third and fourth.

5.The AFL ranking system will determine which of the two teams eliminated on the same weekend will be ranked higher.

6.If two teams are knocked out on the same weekend, the AFL rankings will determine the winner.

Baseball

Games are official after five innings of play. If the home team is leading, the game is official after four and half innings of play. If a game goes past five innings (including any extra innings) and is subsequently called off, suspended or postponed beyond either teams next scheduled game, the winner is determined by the score after the last full innings of play (except in the case when the home team score to tie, or take the lead in the bottom half of the innings in which the game is called off - the runs do count).

For run line and margin betting, the game is official after 9 innings if the visitor team is winning and after 8.5 innings if the home team is winning.

For run totals the game is official after 9 innings (8.5 innings if home team is winning) with the exception that at any time the run total is exceeded the wager is official

Should either of the nominated pitchers withdraw before throwing a pitch, all single wagers are void and wagers refunded while affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.

Basketball

Payouts will be based on the official final score, extra time (an extension of normal time) included, unless otherwise specified.

Games are official after 43 minutes of play (NBA), 35 minutes of play (NBL and NCAA) and at the end of normal time (all other competitions).

In handicap and totals betting, where the line or total is a flat number, if the score lands on the line or total, all wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers (parlays) will be recalculated excluding that leg.

If a game is abandoned, postponed to another date, or fails to meet the above criteria, single wagers are void and refunded. Multiple wagers (parlays) will be recalculated excluding that leg.

Boxing

Where a match is abandoned or postponed, but fought within 14 days of the original scheduled date, all wagers stand. Once the 14 days have expired, all single wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.

All wagers on either boxer to win will be decided by the judges decision, which includes points, technical knockout (TKO), knockout (KO) or disqualification.

If a price is offered for the draw, in the event of a draw all wagers on either boxer to win will be losers. If there is a "technical draw" determined by the referee due to an accidental cut etc then the bout is deemed a "no contest" and all wagers are to be refunded.

In round-by-round betting, if a boxer fails to answer the bell, the fight will be deemed to have ended in the previous round.

For all wagers on a boxer to win on points, the full scheduled number of rounds must take place for the wagers to be deemed winners.

If the scheduled number of rounds is changed all "pick the round" wagers are void and wagers refunded.

The official stopping of a round before the sounding of the bell does not constitute a full round. A full round is only considered for wagering purposes to have been completed when the bell sounds signifying the end of the round.

Cricket

Limited overs (including one-day internationals):

1.In one-day matches, shortened by weather, the outcome will be that determined by the competition rules. If the match is declared a 'no-result' all single wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg. However, all decided bets, such as high bat, individual match ups and next man out, will stand.

2.For batting or bowling match-ups, both batsmen must reach the crease or both bowlers must bowl one ball for wagers to stand. Otherwise all wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.

3.If a match is transferred to a reserve day, all wagers accepted prior to the toss of the original game will carry over. All wagers accepted after that time are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.

4.For betting on the highest opening partnership, wagers will be paid on the team which has amassed the most runs when the first wicket falls, i.e. if one of the opening batsman retires (hurt or otherwise), the partnership is deemed to continue with the next batsman until the first wicket falls.

5.If a match is decided by a Bowl-off, Bowl-out, Super Over or Toss of the coin, all wagers on the winner of the match will be paid Half the Face Value of the ticket, except for those on markets that have been unconditionally determined. Any wickets, runs, catches, or method of dismissals accumulated in a Bowl-off, Bowl-out or Super-Over will not be added to any final tally for betting purposes.

Test cricket (including other non-limited overs):

1.In the event of a tie (i.e. where both teams are bowled out twice and have the same score), all wagers to win on either team will be paid at half face value (i.e. half the win plus half the wager amount). All wagers on the draw will be deemed to be losing bets.

2.At least one ball must be bowled for wagers to stand - otherwise all single wagers are void. However, if a match is officially abandoned (e.g. due to dangerous pitch conditions) then all undecided single wagers on the match are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.

3.For wagers to stand in batting or bowling match-ups, both batsmen must reach the crease or both bowlers must bowl one ball. Otherwise all single wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.

4.For series betting, all scheduled matches must be played. Otherwise all single wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg - unless a result has already been determined.

5.Betting on Australian domestic cricket is based on the most points awarded in the match.

6.For betting on the highest opening partnership, wagers will be paid on the team who has amassed the most runs when the first wicket falls, i.e. if one of the opening batsman retires (hurt or otherwise), the partnership is deemed to continue with the next batsman until the first wicket falls. For test matches and domestic cricket this wager refers to the first innings only.

Golf

In golf, a play-off shall count in determining the final result.

In the case of golf, where a tournament is affected by adverse weather conditions, wagers will be settled on the official result, disregarding the number of rounds played.

If a tournament is not completed within 14 days of commencing, all wagers on any betting option for the tournament are void except wagers that are decided within the 14-day period.

If a player is disqualified, only completed rounds prior to the round, where the disqualification occurred, will count.

Tournament betting, and betting on tournament groups with nine players or more:

1.Bets are placed on an "All-In" basis, (no refunds for non-starters). Playoffs are included in determining the winner and every player beaten in a playoff is deemed to have tied for second.

2.If a tournament is shortened, after it has started, then all wagers stand. Wagers accepted after the end of a day's play are void unless there is further play, which counts towards the result of the tournament (other than a playoff). Or the betting is specifically stated to be on the outcome of a playoff.

3.If a tournament is officially abandoned, all wagers on the tournament are void, except options that have already been decided.

Single betting and betting on tournament groups with eight players or less:

1.Both players (or all players in group) must tee off for wagers to stand. Playoffs are excluded.

2.Th+ winner is the player who plays the most holes (excluding playoffs). If they are equal on holes, the best score wins. Holes played in a round that is subsequently abandoned, or for any reason not counted towards the result of the tournament, do not count. The Dead Heat Rule applies.
